Fantastic news!! Hannah has returned home from the European Championships in Brussels with 2 bronze medals on beam and floor! Having led the team in qualifications with a personal best all around score of 57.633 she helped the team finish 4th in the final with great performances from the new seniors, Rebecca and Ruby along with experienced team members Danusia & Jenni. The first update for 2012 and the first competition! The English Championships were held last weekend at the new Europa Centre. Hannah competed on beam and bars and won the beam title. Early in the season, this was a great opportunity to try out a few new skills in the very important build up to the Olympics. Hannah’s preparation continues with the World Cup series at the end of March in Doha, Qatar where she is scheduled to compete with Beth. Meanwhile Hannah has been training hard in the gym and continuing her Sports degree at John Moores University. She also had a fun day modeling “sporty” fashion on ITV’s “This Morning” with Holly Willoughby and loved being dressed by the wonderful Brix Smith Start!
This weekend Hannah and Jenni went along to the British Gymfusion Gala and had a fab night watching all the performances before stopping off at Monkey Forest on the way back to promote the Sport Relief mile. Check out the pictures on the BG Facebook page.
