Hannah was born on 1st July 1992 in Singapore where she spent the first 2 years of her life. In 1994 the family returned home to Stockport, Cheshire.

In 2005 Hannah moved to the City of Liverpool Gymnastics Club, where she was coached by Sarah Attwell achieving further national and international success and selection for the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Between 2008 and 2012, Hannah trained under renowned coach Amanda Reddin, who helped her become British Champion in 2010 and 2011 and achieve 2 bronze medals on Beam and Floor at the 2012 European Championships. Hannah also represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games alongside teammates Beth Tweddle, Jennifer Pinches and Rebecca Tunney.
